The 2022 Eagle Eye is a classic blend of grapes with perfectly complementing character, resulting in a wine of great flavour, complexity, texture and balance. Crafted with 68% Sauvignon Blanc and 32% Semillon, the wine is the stunning synergy resulting from the perfect union of these two varieties. Each of the grapes are separately barrel fermented and aged on the lees for 10 months, stirred regularly to build texture and varietal character. The careful union of these wines makes Eagle Eye unique and impactful. The richness of the wine is evident in the glass, and the nose immediately reveals its inviting complexities. Ripe tree fruits and citrus, with a subtle tropical character, along with a hint of herbaceousness, create a compelling invitation to taste the wine. The palate provides an incredible range of flavours, combined with a luscious and elegant texture. Pear, apple and lemony citrus notes balance perfectly with an underlying hint of fresh cut flowers, sweet herbs and spice. It is the perfect balance of the acidity and the weight of the wine that come together to create the exceptional mouthfeel.
